The Upper Sixth celebrated their Graduation, with pupils, parents and teachers all coming together for the ceremony and valedictory speeches. Each House hosted their own
valedictions and it was wonderful to spend time reminiscing about the pupils’ years at the College. This was followed by the Graduation Ceremony in the Chapel.
Mrs Riley, who was the guest of honour, shared a thought-provoking and powerful message, encouraging pupils to go forth into the world and make a difference with all the values that Brighton College has instilled in them. Having supported the educational journeys of generations of Brighton College pupils past and present it was fitting for Mrs Riley to give the leaving Upper Sixth this final message of encouragement as they all go on to their next challenges together. After much hearty hymn singing, the Head Master shared his reflections on the leaving Upper Sixth’s time at the College and wished them well for the future.
Parents, family and teachers all raised a glass to the newest Old Brightonians with a drinks reception in the Front Quad. We wish the leaving Upper Sixth all the very best in their future endeavours, and cannot wait to hear about everything they get up to.
