On the final day of half term, the school took their seats in our stunning Cairns Theatre to celebrate the eagerly awaited annual House Song competition. The theatre was electric with House spirit, reflecting the energy and enthusiasm each House put into their song.
The theme was locations and places, with the audience being treated to a wide range of songs including hits such as Kids in America and Copacabana to Music for a Sushi Restaurant and Sound of the Underground. With the quality of performances incredibly high, the competition was tight.
School House triumphed with their winning performance of Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars, taking home the trophy with their dynamic dance moves and powerful vocals, held together by the fantastic rhythm of the School House band.
