Our Reception classes were over the moon when a ginormous T-Rex stomped into our week. It all started with some mysterious, huge footprints leading right to our classrooms, many of us guessed they belonged to a carnivorous dinosaur. Then, to our surprise, we found a dinosaur egg left just for us to care for. We became expert egg guardians, researching how to keep it safe and warm while we waited for it to hatch. On Thursday, we had an absolute blast with Jam the T-Rex and his tiny dino pals. We learned all about their super hearing and amazing noses, played fun games, and showed just how brave we are, remembering even giant dinosaurs get a bit scared sometimes. We also got creative, imagining what the world looked like when dinosaurs roamed and turned our drawings into computer pictures. The computer spotted so many cool details, wow. We are loving our “Jaws, Claws and Dinosaurs” topic and can’t wait for more dino adventures.
