Year 3 enjoyed an exciting and memorable visit to Drusilla’s Park, to celebrate the culmination of their Rainforest topic this term. Throughout the day, they enthusiastically explored the zoo, spotting a wide range of animals and discussing their natural habitats and how they are adapted to survive. During a special Rainforest workshop, pupils impressed with their fantastic knowledge, confidently sharing facts about rainforest layers, climates, and the incredible creatures that live there. They also learned more about deforestation, its causes, and why protecting these environments is so important. After their learning sessions, the pupils had great fun experiencing the rainforest-themed rides, which were a wonderful highlight of the trip. The pupils represented the school beautifully with their curiosity, behaviour, and engagement. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and hope this experience has inspired a lasting interest in the natural world.
