The evening served as a wonderful celebration of innovation, creativity, and the extraordinary young people who have made the Robotics Club the largest and most popular club in the school. Their success stems not from machines, but from imagination, dedication, and teamwork. The pupils’ passion continues to drive the club forward, fueling growth in both numbers and ambition. This year, the club proudly reached 150 active members. Even more inspiring is the team’s diversity: 22 nationalities and 13 languages are represented. Witnessing young minds learn from each other’s cultures, perspectives, and experiences is a privilege, as they truly embody global citizenship through technology.
Last year, the senior team advanced all the way to the FIRST Robotics Competition 2025 finals in Turkey - a tremendous achievement in a highly competitive field. The team is determined not only to repeat that success but to exceed it in the season ahead.
Looking forward, the club is launching exciting new projects in hardware, software, and research, while expanding internationally through competitions and partnerships within its family of schools. Outreach efforts continue to grow: the club will host its first junior scrimmage this December and a Qualifying Tournament next year, along with two upcoming senior squad trips. These experiences will challenge pupils, build confidence under pressure, and strengthen the supportive community. Those interested in seeing the team in action are invited to attend the Open House in Hilary term.
The future of robotics for the club has never looked brighter.
