A massive congratulations to the cast and crew of The Trial, which has been nominated for ‘Best Play’ and ‘Best Ensemble’ at the National School Theatre Awards, also known as ‘the Oscars for schools’!
Taking place in the stunning Cairns Theatre, the production was a tour de force. Steven Berkoff’s daring adaptation of Franz Kafka’s nightmarish vision led to an outstanding theatrical event - a thought-provoking reflection on the absurdity of power, leaving the audience captivated long after the final curtain.
To achieve this recognition on a national level is testament to the brilliance of our pupils. A huge thanks to everyone involved in this wonderful production.
