A huge congratulations to Thomas, who has secured an organ scholarship at St John's College, Cambridge, after earning a brilliant two A*s and an A in his A-levels. This achievement reflects both his academic excellence and musical talent.
Before starting his Music degree at Cambridge, Thomas will attend the esteemed College of St George, home to St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, where he has also been offered a coveted organ scholarship. This opportunity will provide him with invaluable training in a world-class environment, where he will develop his skills in service playing, solo repertoire and choir training.
Thomas's remarkable musical accomplishments include passing his ARSM piano diploma and his Grade 8 trumpet. He has also performed at some of the UK’s most iconic venues, playing the voluntary after our Chamber Choir's visiting Evensong at Westminster Abbey, and accompanying the Choir at the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall in Birmingham, and Southwark and Chichester Cathedrals.
