Year 2 had a fantastic trip to Wilderness Woods, enjoying a wet yet wonderful Forest School experience. Despite the drizzle, the woods were a majestic sight, filled with towering trees and rich natural beauty. The pupils embraced the outdoor adventure with enthusiasm and positivity. Working in teams, they were challenged to collect ten natural items and build something in just ten minutes. Their creativity truly shone as they produced imaginative sculptures, rafts and even fortresses designed to keep wildlife safe. Teamwork was at the heart of every activity, with pupils sharing ideas and supporting one another. The pupils also enjoyed building shelters for woodland creatures, creating beautiful fern prints and designing alliterative nature medallions. It was wonderful to see their imagination and collaboration skills in action.
Although we got very wet, we had a wonderfully memorable day full of learning, laughter and adventure.
