Year 3 were transported all the way back to 1324 BC for an immersive Ancient Egypt Day, becoming a part of history and imagining the preparations for the burial of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Classrooms were filled with creativity and curiosity as pupils took part in plaque making, designing decorative pieces inspired by ancient craftsmanship, creating clay Shabti dolls and experimenting with Papyrus painting. Each activity was designed to deepen their understanding of Ancient Egyptian life and traditions.
