We were delighted to present our Year 3 Instrumental Concert, which showcased the wonderful musical talent and progress of our pupils.
The concert featured an impressive range of instruments, including violin, cello, piano, electric and acoustic guitar, trumpet, fife, French horn, recorder, percussion and even the harp. Every performance reflected the pupils' dedication, confidence and growing musicianship.
Highlights included a fantastic electric guitar rendition of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean, a beautiful violin solo performed with poise and expression, a confident cello performance of the challenging He's a Pirate, and a delightful harp solo. Our pianists also impressed with their attention to detail, musical expression and technical skill.
The concert concluded with two year group ensemble pieces that the pupils have been working on together in class, providing a fitting finale to a wonderful afternoon of music.
It takes a great deal of commitment, regular practice and support from teachers and parents for pupils to develop their musical abilities, and we were thrilled to celebrate their hard work and achievements. We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and look forward to seeing their musical journeys continue.
