This year’s Year 3 to 6 Sports Day was a fantastic success, marked by glorious sunshine, high energy, and outstanding participation from all pupils. Despite the hot conditions, every pupil showed incredible determination, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship throughout the day. A wide range of events took place, including sprints, relays, long-distance runs, and field activities such as the long jump and throwing events. It was particularly pleasing to see so many pupils stepping out of their comfort zones and trying new activities. Their willingness to challenge themselves and support one another truly captured the spirit of the day. The level of effort on display was exceptional, with pupils giving their all from start to finish. House teams cheered each other on, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere across the field. Staff were incredibly impressed by the resilience shown, especially in the heat, as pupils continued to perform with focus and determination. There were also some remarkable individual and team performances, with several new school records set over the course of the day. These achievements are a testament to the dedication and hard work pupils have shown in their PE lessons and clubs throughout the year.
