It was an honour to welcome The Kanneh-Mason Trio to the College on Sunday for a pupil masterclass and concert, housed in our beautiful Sarah Abraham Recital Hall. Sheku, Isata and Braimah shared their expertise with our incredible musicians, before playing a stunning repertoire in front of a capacity crowd later that evening.
All our Upper Sixth masterclass musicians have been offered a place at Cambridge, and so we were delighted that Old Brightonian Teddy, who studied Medicine at Cambridge whilst also being a professional musician, joined us on the day. Teddy talked to our pupils about combining academics with music in further education, and our pupils were left truly inspired.
