The boys XI began the festival with a dominant performance winning by six wickets thanks to some impressive batting by Dilan who scored 68, alongside some quite phenomenal bowling from the captain Harry resulting in bowling figures of 6-39.
The next match reaped the same result with Brighton winning by three wickets. Standout bowling performances from Wilf and Will restricted Wellington to 234 before more impressive batting from Dilan who almost hit his second half century in as many games, with Harry hitting 58 not out.
The boys capped off an incredible festival winning by 80 runs. The high standards were led once more by Harry, who delivered another bowling masterclass with figures of 4-20. This was supported by an outstanding performance from the team, highlighting the impressive depth of talent within the squad, which had been shown not only all festival, but all season.
The Girls 1st XI also began their festival with a thumping victory, winning by nine wickets. The Bowling standard was extremely impressive with Liv, Angeleen and Alice all taking multiple wickets, helping to restrict the opposition to 89 runs. Sophia and Milly were then able to get Brighton off to a fast start with the bat, chasing the runs down in only seven overs.
This was then supported by a perfect victory by 10 wickets. Sophia once again led the charge with the bat scoring an unbeaten 40 to help the team chase 64 in eight overs.
With the trophy in their grasp, the girls put on a final dominant show, winning their final match by 8 wickets. There was no more appropriate way to end the festival than with a supremely impressive match winning batting performance from Alice, scoring 65 not out and finishing the game in style with a huge six.
Every single player should be extremely proud of this achievement, with a special congratulations to Alice and Olivia who were awarded the girls batter and bowler of the tournament respectively, alongside the boys XI captain Harry, who was awarded boys player of the tournament.
