An impressive 58 pupils achieved at least nine Grade 9s, including 38 who secured 10, 11 or 12. Remarkably, one pupil achieved 13 Grade 9s, while another secured an extraordinary 14.
There was particular success in Maths and Science, where an exceptional 94% of grades were awarded at 9–8 (equivalent to A* under the previous grading system).
The breadth of pupils’ academic interests was equally striking, with boys and girls taking GCSEs in 11 different languages. Brighton College pupils also received four awards for achieving the highest marks in the country, including in English Literature.
