Congratulations to our Head Master who swam across the English Channel to the French coast with his younger brother during the summer holidays.
Setting off at sunrise from Dover, the swim took just under 12 hours, navigating past ferries, enormous tankers, hundreds of jellyfish and even a Russian warship! It was a great challenge and a wonderful ‘family adventure’!
Mr Marshall-Taylor had previously completed a two-man swim to France with friend and Brighton College colleague, Mr Kennedy, in 2017. Two Brighton College pupils also completed the English Channel swim in 2021.
