The Upper Third trip to Cornwall was an exhilarating experience that gave thepupils the opportunity to try a range of exciting activities while spending time with their friends.

After arriving in Newquay, the group briefly explored the local area before beginning a busy week of beach-based activities. On the first and third days, they focused on surfing and bodyboarding, learning how to catch and ride the best waves. The second day was spent navigating the rocky coastline and exploring caves during a coasteering session, followed by watersports such as paddleboarding and kayaking, before ending the day with a barbecue.

Although many pupils were trying some of these activities for the first time, the instructors were friendly, supportive and eager to help, making the experience both captivating and challenging. The group also enjoyed an evening at a leisure centre, where they went swimming and relaxed after a tiring day of activities.
